Good morning sports fans.

Breaking news this morning:  Youngstown State University names Jim Tressel its next president. (Vindicator) (Dispatch) As I said here a couple weeks ago “He certainly has the skill-set needed for a modern university president.  He can raise funds and be the face of an institution very effectively.  His will be an effective seat at the table for a regional economic development agenda. However, I don’t see him having the respect of his peers (he doesn’t have a doctorate) or the NCAA (obv).”
