Hot in Cleveland: schools CEO to address culture shift in the State of the Schools address.  The state legislature and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, combined with organizations such as StudentsFirst, have put a great deal of effort into turning around this district.  Changing the culture will be a crucial component. 

Is there a Common Core Comeback in Michigan?: it seems the legislature is moving forward after addressing the concerns raised about local control and student privacy
